What's a lettering (design)?

"Lettering" stands for any kind of written text that is to be arranged or designed in a particular way. Almost any textural information can be designed - and this is the section for all those designs.

One of the many uses of the "Lettering" section is the designing of the name of a yacht (like "Shipname" and "Homeport")

It may be referred to a lettering as typography, calligraphy, type design or writing.
