What's a label (design)?

A label is an identification of products, used on consumer products or their packagings so as to identify the object or its contents.

For the use of this website we consider all kinds of product identifications  as labels. These could be CD covers, labels of (wine) bottles, book covers, tubes of toothpaste or labels on clothing, just to name a few.
